Agricultural Fencing – Stock Netting – Kent
There are many types of stock netting depending on what it is to be used for. For general stock, e.g. sheep, cattle etc. then normally C8/80/15 is sufficient, this is the most cost effective way of protecting animals with 8 horizontal wires and vertical wires every 150mm. All stock netting can be topped with barbed wire or line wire.
There are specialist stock nettings for many animals including, badgers, boars, deer, horses, ostriches and otters.
If you have a specific animal you would like to keep in (or out) then please ask. Chestnut stakes are normally used to support the fence, we recommend driving the posts into the ground every 2.4m with a straining post no more than 100m and on every change of direction. Stock netting is available up to 2m high.
Displayed below are some recent examples of the work carried out.
