Chain Link Security Fencing – Kent
Chainlink is the most common medium security fencing, offering minimal visual impact whilst stopping opportunist thieves and intruders. Posts for chainlink are as standard constructed from mild steel angle irons, 40x40x5mm for intermediate posts and 50x50x5mm for straining posts, these posts can be painted, galvanized or galvanized and powder coated. Alternatively concrete posts can be used, all posts should be concreted in at least 600mm into the ground. The chainlink is held to the posts by horizontal line wireswhich it is tied and clipped to. The chainlink wire can be many thicknesses from standard to high security and can be either mild steel or high tensile steel. The fence can be topped with 3 strands of barbed wire, razor barbed wire or a spinning security topper.
